Lisa serves on the AAERT Executive Board and volunteers on multiple committees, where she helps guide the direction and standards of the profession from the inside.
She holds three certifications: CET and CDR through AAERT, and the NJ AD/T through the New Jersey Administrative Office of the Courts. These credentials span both national and state-level standards and reflect decades of active practice.
She has spent decades producing transcripts for federal and state courts. When she reviews your work, she knows exactly what the courts she works in every day expect to see.
Ilene Watson  ·  CET  ·  CER  ·  CDR
As chair of the AAERT Professional Development Committee and a member of the Certification Committee, Ilene works directly on the standards and resources that define what it means to be a certified court transcriber.
She holds three AAERT certifications and is a Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses graduate, and she brings both deep transcription expertise and real business experience to every resource on this platform.
She co-founded Access Transcripts in 2013 and has helped to grow it into a nationally recognized court transcription agency. She understands what it takes to build a career and a business in this field because she has done both.
